The Parish Pastoral Council of the Holy Trinity church comprises a consultative body, which is always at the service of the Parish Priest for the pastoral functioning of the parish. PPC serves to advise the parish priest about important decisions about Church affairs.
The main function of the members is to coordinate all the parish activities along with other parish associations and movements, under the guidance of the Parish Priest. The Council’s main purpose is to investigate, reflect and recommend to the parish priest certain points which can be helpful to the community at large.
The members of the Parish Council, which has emerged as a primary organ of the parish, are elected for a term of three years by the parishioners themselves ward-wise, and formally inducted following the formation process.
Initially, two members are elected by the parishioners at the ward level, from which one is chosen to represent the ward on the Parish Council. Regular training sessions are conducted to help them function better. Members have their meetings on 1″ Sundays of the month
